What is Andar Bahar and why is it so popular?
Andar Bahar is a traditional card game from South Asia that has been played across the Indian subcontinent for centuries. The rules are very simple — a single card deck is used, one "joker card" is placed in the middle, and players bet on whether the next card of the same value will fall on the "Andar" (inside) or "Bahar" (outside) side.
The beauty of this game lies in its simplicity. Even a new player can understand the game in just a few minutes and join in straight away. Many gaming enthusiasts in Dhaka choose this game as their first choice because there are no complex rules or strategies to remember.
Playing Andar Bahar at betjie is an even better experience — play in real time with a live dealer, immerse yourself in a professional table setup, and feel a new level of excitement with every round.
How to play Andar Bahar?
Joker Card
The dealer draws a card from the deck — this is the "joker card". The value of this card (such as 7, Queen, Ace) is the focus of the entire round.
Place Your Bet
You decide — will the next card of the same value fall on the "Andar" pile or the "Bahar" pile? Place your bet on the side of your choice.
Card Deal
The dealer alternately deals cards to the Andar and Bahar piles until a card matching the joker's value falls on one of the piles.
Result and Winnings
If you bet on the pile where the matching card falls, you win. Your winnings are credited directly to your account.
